About me
Hi, I’m Becci, a Manchester-based copywriter. For a long time, writing was a hobby. I blogged about my adventures in Egypt, France and Italy, and life in Manchester. Meanwhile, I worked as a Family and Child Care Solicitor, writing advice letters, letters of instruction, witness statements, briefs to Counsel, and documents for the Court. I tailored each one to a specific purpose, choosing the tone of voice to suit the intended audience.
My legal training taught me to research and explain complex subjects in a way that is uncomplicated and easy to understand, a skill I now use in everything I write.
In 2014 I left the legal profession to start a family and focus on writing. Three children and many, many words later, Writer Bee was born.
I completed the Blackford Centre Diploma in Copywriting with distinction in 2015. Since then, I have written for a wide variety of brands and businesses.

About the bee
The bee is a Manchester symbol, representing workers buzzing in and out of factories, like bees in their hives.
